Vegas

I'm off to Vegas this weekend for a tennis tournament.  I'm not a huge fan of Vegas.  Sure, it's chock full of incredible shopping, food, and pretty much anything else you can imagine.  But if you're a girl like me, then you pretty much spend most of the time looking at your feet, because it's kind of hard to look anywhere else without being bombarded on every side by porn.  Plus the whole place stinks like cigarette smoke... (secondhand smoke? gag.) Somebody once said something along the lines of Vegas being a place where everybody is either running to something, or from something.  I'm thinking that I'm a third type of person... the girl who's happy to be there (at least while she's playing tennis and chilling in the hot tub) but as soon as that's all over she's pretty dang happy to be heading home.  But I get to miss some school so I have to admit that I'm looking forward to this little weekend getaway!

1. totes aced my biology test... nbd. 108%
2. girls are really mean. like, a lot meaner than you'd believe unless you ARE a girl.  especially to other girls.
3. tennis tonight... planning on kicking butt. now lets hope all goes according to plan.
4. a random thought... you know shes your best friend when you can walk into her house without knocking when you know shes had  a bad day, (in your nasty sweats), run down the stairs, find her on the couch, and then just let her cry on your shoulder for a while. and then 6 minutes later be rolling on the floor laughing about something that would make zero sense to everybody else.

7. seminary. i LOVE brother nixon. i LOVE HIM.

i am so terribly sorry that I haven't been posting anything! I'm gonna get on this... anyway I'm gonna try to gear this blog towards more fashion and fun ideas instead of random thoughts about my life! k?
soooo... let's start with some new spring fashion ideas!  first of all, this spring is all about COLOR! so try a bright orange or vibrant green, and pair it with white jeans or skinny cargos (I found some darling ones at Abercrombie & Fitch but they're still $70.00!)  another great idea is to layer! try this:
